Focus on economic development and legislative liaison. Increase awareness for Greater Parkville; strengthen, retain and expand existing businesses, establish partnerships with governmental levels and agencies and provide strategic and demographic information for economic development efforts.

Provide projects to raise funds for the Chamber. Use of funds is determined by the Board of Directors.

Duties:
Recruitment of new members along with member retention. Welcome members and guests at events. Follow-up with nonmember guests after attending events. Coordinate and represent the Chamber at ribbon cuttings.

Duties:
Establish and maintain a railroad transportation museum in the Parkville depot. The committee will develop guidelines as to what railroad items will be displayed and proper signage for display; purchase and/or borrow items for display; recommend hours of operation and staffing requirements; investigate temporary or traveling exhibits that may be available to the public, and other duties as may arise.

Schedule Business After Hours, Business over Breakfasts, and other events as needed. Recruit members to host and/or sponsor. Provide and distribute chamber event calendar to Board, members, web site. Attend ribbon cuttings.
