LICENSES & TAXES

City Stickers:
No longer mailed to residents. If you would like to have a city sticker, bring your Platte County Personal Property Tax receipt to city hall and we will provide city stickers for the number of vehicles listed.

Drivers' Licenses

Dogs & Cats:
Licenses required for dogs 6 months or older. $5.00 if neutered, $10.00 others. Bring rabies vaccination proof. Renew by May 1st. No license for cats. Maximum of 3 dogs and/or cats. City has leash law for dogs.

Occupation Licenses:
Required for ALL businesses, including home occupations. Renewable June 1, annually.

Taxes:
City real estate taxes, personal property taxes and city sticker fees are billed with county taxes on one bill from Platte County Assessor 816-858-2232.

Trash Pick Up:

Recycling:
Newspapers may be taken to Graden Elementary School. All recyclables accepted behind Metro North Shopping Center. Call 816-784-2080 for household hazardous waste drop off site if you live within Parkville City limits. Curbside recycling available by Blacksher, 891-0861, for an additional fee.
