Annual Gala
This event occurs annually in January, showcasing area businesses, outstanding service, and community partnerships. In addition, the gala provides the Chamber occasion to raise funds to enhance member benefits and programming, as well as to provide a monetary donation to our chosen community service project.
Block Party
Typically held in August as a way to promote our area businesses in a fun environment, this is a great event for friends, families, and business to give back to the community. Bands, food, vendors, and fun are all requisite, of course!
Business After Hours
Held the 3rd Thursday of each month, this program is designed to provide after work networking and socialization for our members.
Business Over Breakfast
This program is held quarterly to provide educational development to our members. Specific business topics are covered during the event, as well as time to network.
Community Service Project
Each year, the Chamber selects a community project in our community. The Chamber provides volunteer hours, financial resources, and regular promotion of the charity.
Legislative Dinner
Held in August, this event allows for a non-partisan forum for local, state and federal officials to discuss what lies ahead for the Parkville area.
Legislative Trip
Each April, the Economic Development Committee sponsors a trip to Jefferson City to meet with our elected officials.
Lunch with the Chamber
Held the 2nd Monday of each month, this networking opportunity is a great way to get to know other Chamber members, as well as to partake in lunch at one of our many fabulous member restaurants.
Member to Member Discount
This initiative provides discounts between members and is an excellent way to reach out to and support Chamber businesses.
Other Chamber Events
The Parkville Area Chamber has partnered with other local chambers to provide more networking opportunities, as well as joint business education ventures. Events include speed networking and workshops about starting a business in Platte County.
PACC 101
This program is designed to educate new members within the Chamber about programs, events, and the benefits of membership.
Parkville Pub Crawl
Held in October, this event is a fun and social opportunity to highlight our Parkville area nightlife.
Ribbon Cuttings
These events allow members to showcase their business or new location and are held on the 2nd or 4th Thursday of each month.
